Creating a Viewer Group

Learn how to create a new viewer group to organize your users and assign tailored permissions to your dashboards.
Option A: Create a Group While Adding an Embed (Fastest)
- While configuring a new embed: Scroll down to the Viewer Groups section on the creation form.
- Click
+ New group, type in your new group name (e.g., "Test Group"), and click Create.
Option B: Create a Group from the Main Menu
- From the Home screen: Click the Add group button located in the top menu shortcuts.
- Alternatively: Go to the left sidebar, click Viewer Groups under the People section, and then click
+ Add Group in the top-right corner.
- Fill in the details: Enter a Name and an optional Description for your group (e.g., "This group should see our spend dashboards").
- Click Create Group to finalize.

Next Step: Your newly created viewer group won't have any members yet. You can easily invite or assign viewers to this group from the Viewers tab!
